Gastric Bypass Surgery

Gastric bypass is one of the most efficient obesity surgeries. It decreases fat absorbing and provides lasting weigh lost by shrinking stomach and changing the food route. The surgery would take 1 to 3 hours and it's often done by laparoscopy which is less painful and invasive. Patients usually get hospitalized for 2 to 3 days and full recovery needs 2 to 4 weeks.

 

Sleeve gastrectomy

Sleeve gastrectomy is performed by removing a large portion of the stomach and turning it into a narrow tube, which leads to reduced appetite and weight control. This operation usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour and is performed laparoscopically. The recovery period is 2 to 3 weeks, and the patient is typically hospitalized for 1 to 2 days.  

 

Abdominoplasty

This is a surgery which is done by removing the extra skin and tightening abdominal muscles. The procedure will take 2 to 3 hours and the patient needs to be hospitalized for 2 days afterwards. Full recovery needs 2 to 4 weeks of rest, wearing girdle and avoiding difficult activities.

 

Liposuction

This is a minimally invasive surgery to remove extra fat from body. The operation can take 1 to 3 hours and the patient can be discharges after the surgery or 1 day later. Full recovery is expected after 1 or 2 weeks.

 

Mammoplasty

It's a surgery for breast size reduction and breast formation. The procedure will take 2 to 3 hours and the patient is discharged after 1 or 2 weeks. They need 2 to 3 weeks for recovery.

 

Mastectomy

An operation to remove a breast or a part of breast's tissue is called mastectomy. The surgery will take 1/5 to 3 hours and the patient needs to be supervised in hospital for 1 or 2 days. Full recovery is expected after 2 to 4 weeks.

These surgeries are done to increase breast size and enhance breast form. The procedure will take 2 to 3 hours and the patient needs 1 to 2 weeks for recovery.

Pelvis joint replacement

This surgery takes 1/5 to 2 hours and the patient should be hospitalized for 2 to 3 days. They need 1 to 2 weeks for recovery.

 

Knee joint replacement

This surgery takes 1 to 2 hours and the patient should be hospitalized for 2 to 3 days. They need 3 to 6 weeks for recovery.

 

Shoulder joint replacement

This surgery takes 1 to 2 hours and the patient should be hospitalized for 2 to 3 days. They need 3 to 6 weeks for recovery.

 

Full hip joint arthroplasty

This surgery takes 1/5 to 2 hours and the patient should be hospitalized for 2 to 3 days. They need 3 to 6 weeks for recovery.
